CWF Chairman Jay West says pro wrestling will be returning to Benton, TN in 2012. "CWF only uses the creme of the crop when it comes to local talent," West said in an interview on Monday. "2011 was just a bad year from a scheduling standpoint." West says most of the CWF roster kept busy last year. "We had an unprecedented number of stars making weekly trips to Nashville for TV tapings. Two of our top stars even spent some time working with WWE." The chairman also pointed out the vast number of competing events close to home. "There are numerous promotions in North Georgia, and a big chunk of our roster, myself included, spend a lot of time working for the TCW promotion in Graysville."
We have received messages on our Facebook page from several fans asking how Disturbance and Land of Confusion, CWF's annual marquee events, will be handled. "Disturbance is our big event - the one that started the company," said West. "We will hold two Disturbance spectaculars this year to catch up on the event that was missed last year. Land of Confusion will occur only once in 2012."
Dates for the 2012 CWF Season will be announced this March.
